Working: The Musical tells the story of everyday American workers. It follows some professions that are usually glanced over, such as a parking lot attendant, a millworker, a trucker, and many more. Due to its simple set and orchestra requirements, multi-ethnic cast, and subject matter, Working has been deemed one of the most accessible and relevant shows ever created.
