24 hour play festivaL
What is the 24 Hour Playfest you may ask? Well it's exactly what it's called! In just 24 jam-packed HOURS, playwrights, directors, actors, and techies put together a night of exciting and magnificent theatre! At the start of the evening, each group is formed and a night of chaos commences. Overnight, playwrights must write an 8-10 minute length script to be given to directors and actors in the morning. Rehearsals begin bright and early and by showtime, actors must memorize their lines, crew members must learn cues, and everyone must be running on pure exhaustion and adrenaline. This is truly one of the most exhilirating theatre experiences that someone can have and by the time it's over, you'll be begging to do it again!
